Flying Dog Classic Pale Ale- Carbonation?

Wow...is it me or is this the most highly carbonated beer of all time? I just tried it for the first time today and took a drink from the bottle, I could not believe how carbonated it was. Decided to try one in a glass and only poured a bit in and the head occupied about 3/4 of the glass. Added a bit more and the head stuck out of the glass about 3".? Is this normal?

Hmm....haven't had that one in a while, but in general I love Flying Dog. Really enjoy their in heat wheat hefeweizen.

Not normal. I had one a few months ago and it was normally carbonated.
