My second batch of bottles has some floaties. I understand that it could be protein and/yeast.

If it is protein... is it possible that not enough time occurred in primary fermentor... I bottled directly from fermenter. I thought I did better bottling from this batch than the first. But cannot see any in the first batch of bottles.

Did you use fizz drops? I always had little floaties when I used them. If it is yeast or proteins, they’ll sink and cake on the bottom of the bottle after being in the fridge

That could be it. When I started, It took me awhile to figure out where my floaties has been coming from. I didn’t always have them, but it seemed the older an opened package got, the more common I saw it. Never noticed them again after I used them all up.

This is my last batch with these drops. I dont like them... dont fit into my 16oz bottles. Will dose each bottle with corn sugar from now on
