Cooper's IPA HME, Cooper's LME, Safbrew S-33, Cascade leaf hop tea.
It looked kind of like tobacco from a cigarette floating in my beer, it almost entirely moved off and stuck to the side as I racked to the bottling bucket. The beer tasted a little odd but not bad in any way. I was already expecting something a bit strange with the combination of ingredients I used. It smelled like bubble gum, which I am guessing is what S-33 at fermented at 73F is supposed to smell like.
I dont think it was hops, it looked more like break--but not sure how much of that one can expect from a canned kit.
It's in bottles now, so this isn't one of those "should I dump it" threads--just curious about ideas of what that was. I haven't seen it in any prior batches, so this feels like a learning experience waiting to happen.
