Would it be ok to spray flex seal over the heating element connections for additional protection against leaks. Is it conductive?
You should use "food grad" silicone - or look for aquarium safe.
I think the OP is looking to seal the outside electrical connections and not the element seal at the kettle.
If your enclosure is properly constructed and grounded, and you are also using proper gfi power source, I don't feel spraying flex seal, or any sealant is needed, and could potentially trap water, be a future maintenance menace, potential fire hazard. Stick with standard good wiring practice IMO.
