i have a tripel thats about 2 weeks old and im thinking about bottling in a week or two. i took one final gravity reading today (two weeks in) and i gave my sample a good taste and things seem to be tasting beautiful. is this a any kind of representation of the final product? giving that there is no contamination when bottling.

Sort of,but carbonation & maturing will heighten certain aspects as well. But don't just trust your taste buds or airlock. Only your hydrometer knows for sure.

Make sure you take a couple of gravity readings a couple of days apart to make sure it is completely done fermenting before you bottle it, give the timeline you stated it should be fine but better safe than bottle bombed...

That one last statement always makes me think of those black & yellow nuke shaped bottles in the wooden ammo box. But yeah, the hydrometer knows...
