After some tests it appears the concrete is sealed. So I’ve decided to leave it be. In the future if it gets too stained I will tile or put down some vinyl flooring. Decided I’ve waited long enough, time to start moving things in.

Looking good!! Really digging the pallet wood and the way it looks.

Do you have an air intake or just the exhaust running? And is that a giant planter used as a hood?!

Yes it’s a giant “planter” or water basin. I have a fan pulling moisture out. As for make up air, it’s pulling out from the rest of my basement currently. That will change as I want to be more closed off from the rest of the house...and keep my wife happy.

I love the name. I could definitely use a 'flat broke brewing' sticker on my kegerator! That build is impressive and I'm only a little jealous (read: embarrassed by my broke as a joke brewery lol) The license plate backsplash is awesome, I'll likely borrow that one day.. Anyway, the build looks awesome and I'm glad you found yourself a little slice of heaven in the heartland! If you ever find yourself in Omaha again feel free to drop me a line and I'll have some cold home-brews waiting for you. Cheers!

Thanks I actually live in the Omaha area. Flat Broke got its name when we were living in California and the living wasn’t easy..

This is amazing. Love the idea. I may take it...

Finally got motivated today, and did some work in the brewery. Lots of little projects but this one I’ve been waiting to do and am now happy to share.

Wow I’ve lost track of time on this project. Sorry with the lack of updates. Finally back at it, doing the floor and finishing all the stuff I did as mock up and proof of theory.

That black market brewing glass tho!!
Love that spot in Temecula it’s one of my favorites!! Cheers
