I built a collar for my keezer with the intention of fitting 4 cornies inside a 7.2 cu ft Frigidaire. 3 on the floor, 1 on the hump. The one on the hump fits until I connect the gas and liquid lines. It is all of about 3/4inches too tall for the lid to close. I cannot express how frustrated I am.

So, what can I do to remedy the situation? I know I could rebuild the collar or even build a top to add to the collar to make it a little taller, but I was wondering if there are any easier solutions out there.

Thanks!

this may not even be possible, but thinking outside the box....could you cut/saw off part of the rubber bottom of the keg?

A friend had this issue and ended up just cutting out part of the underside of the lid where the connections would be to give a little extra room.
