I really wanted to get a wheat beer going for the hot season, and so I dropped by the LHBS lastnight to get some stuff. I didnt really have a good recipe, so I just went for a Coopers Wheat LME kit, but added some Weis DME (500g) and some Dextros (300g) along with some Halletauer (sp?) hops.
I boiled about 8 liters of water, poured in the can of LME, got that boiling, then added the DME, dextrose and .75 ounces of the hops. I saved the last .25 ounces of hops for the last 10 minutes of the boil. Its all cooling now so I can get an OG and the yeast in. Hopefully it will be good!
