Purchased some kegs and a reg setup for two about 2 months ago. I have since filled the first one (brown ale) and force kegged by rolling on the ground. It worked fine and I enjoyed the beer for about two weeks. I then filled a second keg (Hefe) and simply put it in the fridge and turned the psi up to about 12-13, let it sit for about a week. Needless to say the first keg is now over carbed. Whats the best way to bring the carb level down.
Now the bigger issue is with the Hefe. After a week I pulled a couple glasses and it was not carbed and seemed to have trouble dispensing. It has now been three weeks and it will not dispense from the picnic tap. I got a feeling that the dip stick is clogged because the first couple glasses had some stuff floating around which seemed to be some hop trub. Is this common and how to I clean it?
