Hey all. I have 5 gallons of fresh pressed apple cider I got yesterday. I have done nothing with it as it sits in a sealed pail. I would like to make a nice easy hard cider and would like it to be lightly carbonated like Woodchuck cider is. Could someone walk me through the process. Steps and weights would be very much appreciated. I am a home brewer of beer and probably have everything I need, I just don't know what to do from here. I am not looking for any particular flavor this time, just a nice regular hard cider. Thank you all in advance.

I just did started something like you want...

I started by adding one crushed campden tablet per gallon and letting sit for 24 hrs... This kills the wild yeast

Then i pitched a dehydrated pack of Nottingham ale yeast

I added no sugar just apple cider... I hope this helps
