Hey there guys, I have got hold of a few different types of hop for my next pale ale and I am curious about boil times. last couple of batches have come out ok, a little light on hop flavor if anything but this is a first using a blend. The following is what Ive got figured out, please let me know what you think.

60 min- 20g Simcoe

30 min - 20g Simcoe

10 min - 10g mosaic, 10g Galaxy, 10g Simcoe

5 min - 10g mosaic, 10g Galaxy, 10g Simcoe

0 min - 20g citra

Dry Hop for 7 days with 10g Mosaic, 10g simcoe 10g Citra and then add 10g galaxy for the last 4 days before bottling.

Total Batch size - 25L

I have read a few threads that mention a strong grassy flavor from Galaxy if left to dry hop for longer than 5 days so I'm trying to go for less and increase later if needed.

Cheers

I'm afraid Simcoe too will leave some grassy flavors for such long time...

Do you recommend bittering at the 60 min mark with Galaxy instead? I've seen a few IPA's that do it. I do not particularly hate grass flavors just not too strong. Or is it desirable to not bother with the 60 min at all? There is an all Simcoe IPA I've closely copied from this forum https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=101574 and it turned out not too bad.

Thanks for the feedback.

sorry, I was meaning that Simcoe will leave grassy flavors in dryhopping for ten days, I will dryhop wit Simcoe for shorter time. As bittering hop is OK (I don't like it for flavoring or aroma, but is personal taste)
