Before this used only liquid yeast thinking it was better but Iam now convinced that dry is just as good for certain beers that don't need a yeast profile. I am gonna add this to the great yeast list. I do like to experiment with different yeast and so far have 3 that are on the great list and 10 on the good and 1 on the bad yeast list. what are some others people really like?

What's your "bad" yeast?

Nothing wrong with dry yeast at all, cheaper than liquid and when properly hydrated more than enough health yeast to get your going fast.

I do not like wyeast westshire yeast don't know the number but that yeast is most definitely for cask beers it's a strain that takes a long time to clean its by products I mean months.

It's 1469 West Yorkshire it's great if your barrel aging or long term aging. But for me I like a beer at least ready in a month or so unless Iam going for a big beer or an good aging beer I would not use this one again.

I was going to do this recipe again just minor hop tweaks and yeast. I thinking of trying wyeast 1332 northest ale. Has any one tried this yeast.
