First time grower, are these hops or weeds?

I planted Cascade about a week ago.

Is this them or some weeds?

Hop shoots look like this:

Agreed, weeds.
Another way to tell if the leaves have not popped out yet, the tips of the shoots are a reddish / purplish looking color and look like the tops of asparagus.

Those are weeds, get the roots.
