Hey y'all, gonna be doing my first partial mash on Monday, here is my recipe and tell me what you think. I'm going for a Belgian style wheat.

2lbs American 2 row malt
2lbs light wheat malt
.5 flaked wheat

3lbs wheat dme
1lb orange honey

2oz Hallertau @ 60 minutes
1oz bitter orange peel @ 10 minutes
1oz coriander @ 10 minutes
1oz ginger @ 5 minutes

Wb05 dry yeast

It should look something like this
OG 1.056
FG 1.015
ABV 5.4%
IBU around 30
Seems like it will be a well balanced brew with a unique flavor. should be really good

I was thinking of upping the flakes wheat to 1lb with .5lb oats... Would I need a little more 2 row or a little Belgian pils?

i think the only thing that would do is give it maybe a little more body or mouthfeel, if you did not add anything but the addition of oats. but let me remind you, i'm fairly new. maybe some of the veterans will chime in and give you some better advice.
