Ok the beer is in the keg. Im doing the 48hours on 30psi and set to 12 method.

So keg is set at 30psi. I go to relief valve to bleed any O2. The ring on that valve is SUPER senitive. Even turning the ring just a bit to left or bit the right it releases co2. Is that normal to be that sensitive? Or is mine faulty?

Got a mini-fridge i plan on converting this summer. On its warmest setting it is sitting at about 38 degrees. Colder then i wanted but oh well. When carbing in the cold does that effect the psi at all up or down?

Sure enough. Removed it dipped in the starsan and put it back good and tight on and now i can wiggle the pin and no air is expelled.

Thanks for the tip. Now do i need to adjust the psi based on the cold tempature?

I had one like that, thought I was losing co2 through it, but turned out to be fine. I did replace it with a spare lid though.
