Hey all,
I have done my first brew experience with all grain. It was at a local micro brewery I love to go to beer. The owner is so nice he told me to come in and help him do a small batch. It was a 10 gallon brew. A smoked Porter. It was an awesome experience. I hope to be back again. His setup was awesome. A chugger pump, 3 15.5 gal kegs, a nice plate chiller. I can't wait until the beer is on tap. He had me try the different grain before milling to taste what flavor they give. I offered my donation of time to help clean for his knowledge.

That is the best start you can get. Take advantage of every bit of advice and technique you can. You will learn more in one brew with a professional than you would from 20 brews of trial and error solo brewing. What a great opportunity. Enjoy it! Hopefully, he will invite you again.
