Just finished my very first brew. It was a Belgian Tripel. Hopefully my meager starter kit did it justice. I will let y'all know how it turns out.

On a side note, I am just getting into home brewing. This site has been great for getting information. One day I hope to be a major contributor.

1st brew a Tripel- ambitious. Hope she turns out as well as you expect! :mug:


I would argue a Tripel is more forgiving than most styles. Let that thing ride!

Don't give too many concerns about fermentation temp and as hard as it may seem you may want to give that one at least a month on primary before bottling. It could taste a bit "green". It's amazing how much brews change. Good luck!

Yea Belgian beers especially. That yeast does so much to change the flavors over time.
