Started my first brew today. Great experience.

Rookie mistake and poured the yeast in, but the yeast got everywhere... mainly the top of the carboy on the inside.

Will this be a problem?
Should I try and shake up the wort while it's early to get the yeast in the mix?
Will the foam grab the yeast from the top of the carboy as it ferments?
Should I just leave it? or Add more?

Glass Carboy, used San Diego Super Yeast.

Any suggestions for this rook is greatly appreciated.

Whatever you do, Don't Panic!

If you want to swirl the carboy, no problem. But it won't likely make a big difference. Cheers! Oh, and always carry a towel.

If you can also use a sanitized turkey baster to help settle the yeast back into the wort, if the yeast is high in the neck of your carboy.
