So my friends and I are going to brew our first beer tomorrow morning (sort of a Nugget Nectar clone). The only problem is we are picking up all the ingredients tomorrow. Since we can't make a starter the day before, what would you suggest is the best way to pitch our yeast? multiple dry yeasts? Multiple vials?

Some of the recipe info
Boil Size: 6.95 gal
Post Boil Volume: 6.24 gal
Batch Size (fermenter): 5.50 gal
Bottling Volume: 5.50 gal
Estimated OG: 1.071 SG

I would say, rehydrate a pack of US-05 and pitch that. If it leads to less worrying, pitch two packs.

Enjoy!

Sounds like your are diving in with a big brew !!! :mug:

If it is the first time for everyone, then the keep it simple method is good. I'd go for a dry yeast and just sprinkle it on top. You can use two packs if you like.

Your bottling volume will be somewhat less than batch size. You are in for a ton of experiences. Let the fun begin!!! :)
