First Brew Ever!

I just want to say thank you to all the members of HBT. I've been reading these threads for a couple months now and finally made my first batch yesterday, an English Brown Ale from Brewer's Best. Apart from a few small mistakes (one being my OG reading was too low b/c I didn't mix well after adding water), it went very well and was a lot of fun. It wasn't as much hard work as I was prepared for. Right now I've got a blowoff hose attached and it is bubbling like crazy!

Congrats...You will be checking that thinge every half a hour till its done fermenting its a addictions. i still go in my closet every morning when i get home from work and listen to the bubbling
