I'm brewing my first batch ever using Midwest Supplies Kit and it is so much dang fun. I'm brewing two batches for an annual beach week with some friends and family. I just graduated from college in December and I am currently searching for jobs. Since I'm so bored, I figured right now would be the best time for me to start my own homebrew. I got really bored last night and found out how to make my own labels using andybiggs program (www.beerlabelizer.com). Thought I'd post some pics since I have nothing else to do right now.

All wrapped up like a baby.

A buddy of mine is brewing some beer using his Mr. Beer kit. Mine is in the Carboy.

Very nice label. Bored?! Now that you're homebrewing there will always be something for you to clean or tinker with, or a beer you want to make, or something you want to build... but I must know, what did you brew?

I'm brewing a Black Dog Ale for my first. I figured it would be an average easy beer. I ordered Delirium Tremens and Victory Hop Devil IPA for my next brews. I'm pumped for the IPA.

Oh yeah, I like Hop Devil - keep us posted on the results of your first batch.
cheers!

So I bottled my buddies beer today from the Mr. Beer Kit since he was in DC this weekend. Here are some of the pictures. I was wondering if his beer is infected or is this normal. I think he's brewing some sort of fruity wheat beer. It looked pretty nasty to me, but I don't have any experience. I think my beer in the carboy is still doing fine. Please let me know what you guys think.

Thought I'd post up the cornhole boards I've been working on while the beer is fermenting. It's still got tape on it since I'm painting the last strip on the outside.

Started my second brew tonight and I am officially hooked with this hobby. I brewed delirium tremens and I have Victory Hop Devil IPA waiting to be brewed after that. It's bubbling away like crazy right now. It makes me so happy. I cannot wait to crack my first brew open (2 more weeks). I'll post pics of the first pour up for anyone who cares.
