Howdy folks. I debuted my first PMB* batch of beer - a Northern English Brown - on Saturday at my brother's college graduation party and it was a huge success!
I was really excited that folks not only liked it, but called out different flavors that I was going for without having been told what I was trying to do. These were people who have little to no craft beer experience and were pointing out the subtle raisin/plum notes I was aiming for, among other things.
Thanks to everyone who commented on/critiqued my recipe and helped me get it to its final form. And for all the great tips I read in my general browsing of these forums.
...second batch is two weeks from bottling and I can't wait to try it (a saison).
