First All Grain Batch

Just completed my first all grain batch! Everything went great. I had a friend over to help. It was his first time brewing so we both learned together. SG came out a little high but i'm sure that was because I'm short a quart or 2 of wort but didn't want to mess with it. So excited to see how this one turns out!

Awesome to hear! If you came close to the expected OG then you are doing good for a first time AG; very easy to get really low efficiency on a first try.

Congrats! AG can be a royal PITA sometimes, but getting within ballpark of OG and having a good time, as it sounds like you did, makes for a great brew day. Start planning your next one!
