And the last batch.
It went fairly well. Don't have a valve on my keggle yet, so I had to siphon. Thought I had two hops bags, but only had one. Hard to keep the siphon hose from clogging up around the last 2 gallons or so. Forgot to start the yeast until brew day morning.

Very Nice! I like your set up. How did the braided line work? I am building my AG system and don't know which to go with, braid or manifold? Maybe I should just flip a coin?! Hope my first AG batch goes as good as yours!

Nice! I think it's cool when the squids want to help. 
BTW - your burner stand doesn't look big enough for your keggle. I would recommend getting a grill grate to put between them to give you a little support. I would hate to lose 6 gal boiling wort if something bumped it!

Never, pics are like candy on forums to me.
Anyway, first of all that is awsome your little daughter is helping, can't wait to have a few myself to help stir the pot with pop.
I have also brewed the Fat Tire CLone, I keep hearing it is great so the anticipation is killin me.
Is it a little darker than your average Amber and how about the bitterness is it too low or just right, cause to me it seemed a little low in the recipe I don't know about how it is on the palat though.

I know. The stand is definitely too small. It also has the disadvantage of making the keggle being a bit further away from the flame. I'd also like it to be a little lower to the ground. I fully plan on altering it to be more stable and to bring the flame a bit closer to the keg.

Well, to call it a clone is a bit of a stretch. I got the recipe from "Clone Brews". I don't have the book, but it was at the LHBS when I went for ingredients. I bought the ingredients but misplaced the directions. Not being a purist anyway, I just dumped everything I bought into the mash. Probably about 2x Special B as it called for. That might be why it turned out so dark.
I don't know much about how to tell how bitter it is going to be compared to how bitter it is supposed to be. Like I said, I'm not a purist, I just like to make beer that is tasty, whether it fits a certain style or not.
No pics of pints yet. Just got it in the fermenter.
