Last night, I brewed my first all grain batch (a Maris Otter/Centennial SMaSH IPA) using my insulated bottling bucket mash tun. I lost a bit more temp than I counted on during the mash, but the gravity was spot on at 1.051, so I guess the conversion happened without any problems.

It was also my first time using a wort chiller and auto siphon and I have no idea how I lived without those 2 things before.

Large paint strainer bag in an insulated bottling bucket- worked like a charm!

It took about an hour to reach a boil on my stove, but it worked.
