Finally Brewing

Hello everyone, my name is Kyle. I have been a member for a couple of months now, I know I know, why didn't I post earlier. I don't know. I am finally brewing beer after helping a friend a few times. I have brewed two batches so far, an Ale and a Hefeweizen. The Ale turned out amazing but the hefeweizen left a little to be desired. I don't think I let it clean up enough after primary. Still drank it, wasn't terrible. And lesson learned. I just picked up a pale ale, a nut brown ale, and an IPA from Northern Brewer. I will brew them one at a time. Good times ahead. Cheers.

A lot of imperfections in a beer can come from too short of primary time and fermentation temperature control. Ask a lot of questions to fine tune your brewing.

Welcome. My first three all grain beers left much more to be desired until I learned how my setup performed and what it was able to do. Now I'm turning out award winning recipes. Keep pushing forward and have a home brew on me!
