Filtering a wine kit

I was wondering if anyone filters their wine kit?

I have made a few kits and never filtered but wonder what the benefit was.

Filtering can make a clear wine absolutely brilliant and actually sparkle. It might not be noticed in red wines, but in white wines it would make a clear wine even prettier.

Maybe I should try that with a current batch I have.
