Bottled my 2nd batch last Sunday. One thing I struggled with is keeping the end of tubing submerged when siphoning from fermenting bucket to bottling bucket, especially while trying to keep an eye on where the autosiphon is drawing from, etc. One thing I thought of but haven't tried is connecting the tubing to the spigot on the bottling bucket, reversing the normal flow direction through the spigot. Figured this might be an easy way to keep the beer entering at the bottom of the bottling bucket without fighting the coiled tubing. Anyonet ried this? Only issue i can see is possible leak where tubing attaches to spigot. Thoughts?
