Not this Thursday (Thanksgiving), but next Thursday (11/30), several of us who have done the last couple of Catalina BIFs decided to get together in person, which turned into inviting other TBers (IRL friends who are not in Catalina), which morphed into "well, why don't we just invite all FIBs?"

middlebrow cracked a BA Milk Eyed Mender this evening, really impressed. Incredible barrel presence, great mouthfeel, with a crazy dark chocolate finish. Would do unspeakable things for more of this.

might be a bottle or two left at capones, beermisc., bitter pops or warehouse (YellowBird they gone?). while B2 & B3 BA are sleeping until the fall, a new canned regular basic bitch batch should be out in 3 weeks. complete with a new spinal tap inspired art.

maybe...I've never seen a glass explode by getting tapped on the side by a can. It didn't even fall over, just like blew out. super weird. beeraficionado any other dipshits complain of exploding glassware?

It depends on what you're looking for, if it's just a full allotment of this years you can probably jump in line an hour or two before they open and get it. If your looking for vintage then probably by like 5 am.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but their release last year worked great for me based on location and time.

Batavia should be a damn mess of folks looking for their second allotment by 10AM. I think a lot of the locations that say they're getting variants may just be barleywine.

When the doors open Tuesday, all three 4-packs will be for sale, but there's only about 10 cases (60 4-packs) of Cherry remaining. The Brewpub will have Deth & Cafe starting tomorrow afternoon as well.
