It's the first snow of the season where everyone has to relearn how to drive in weather we see for a third of the year every year.

Definitely some of this, but I just was running errands for the last 2 hours and the roads are miserable. Almost zero salt down anywhere. I hopped on the Kennedy at Fullerton to get down to Bari and traffic was barely moving at all....for about 200 feet....because a section of the highway at an underpass was just pure ice. Tractor trailers were going about 1.5mph over it.

Coworker just came back from lunch @ Bad Apple. Apparently Benthic release was very popular. Line still stretched down the street and around the corner at 1pm, 2 hours after release.

He's a non-beer guy. He was with his wife, she said she's never seen so many beards in one place. She wasn't trying to be funny or ironic either.... just a serious, casual observation from someone on the outside.

If I wasn't headed toward Imperial Oak for the NE IPA vs. West Coast IPA battle after work I'd be headed over there. Maybe tomorrow prior to evening FOBAB.

If that was at Bavarian Lodge it would have kicked in two days max.

It's true. I think B-Lodge did get it and it lasted for a day, max. It's been on here for 4 weeks now. I've been crushing it on $4 beer Friday afternoons.

Hoping to ride my bike down to Imperial Oak tomorrow afternoon. Clean up on leftovers.

Because I am still on the dole, I decided today would be a good day to do beer-related stuff. So I hit Beer Temple and had a Coconut BA'd Narwhal (very good; bitterness is still there; coconut is subtle) and ************* COFFEE EUGENE ON CASK (awesome but the the cask didn't seem to add much). Also Transient's cherry soda which I will drink whenever I have the chance.

Then I decided to swing by Half Acre around 1p to see what the status was but there were like 15 people waiting outside so I just went home.

When I can't pay the mortgage because I didn't want to wait in line to flip BA'd coconut goodness, my wife is gonna be PISSED.

its hilarious looking...we did all the haze steps and added the vanilla & fruit at sorta the same time as the hops to see if the specific yeast would suspend a lil of the adjuncts and rip the flavors similar to the hops, and it turned out crazier than we planned. its pretty ****** delicious.
