Heyo-

I am a small batch brewer looking for a bottling bucket and was wondering if anyone has used a Fermonster w spigot as a bottling bucket. I would like the dual use of having it also as a backup fermentor.

I bottle straight from the fermonster (as a primary fermenter) with regularity, so it would work fine as a bottling bucket. I do think the spigot is probably placed slightly higher than it is on a bucket, but a wedge fixes that.

that was the main question, it looked like the spigot was a little higher than on normal bottling buckets.

I've done it but not with the fermonster, optionally you can use your boil kettle as a bottling bucket. You likely already have a dip tube on it. This is what i primarily use now especially since I have a spare now that I've upgraded to a larger kettle.
