The heat generated from fermentation on my 12 gallon conical will go from ambient (~70) to almost 80 degrees if left unchecked. the mass of that thing is not going to allow it to dissapate heat very quickly. How are you going to cool that bad boy?

They make a cooling jacket for it. If I'm going that big, why not go whole-hog?? :D

I know what you mean about conicals. . . :mug:
