Love the freezer, hope you got a deal on that thing, for over 3,500 i could convert by garage to a walk in cold room... okay, maybe just half of it.

Great thanks rekoob. The freezer isn't going to be too much voltage for that controller to handle is it? Sorry electric is not my specialty. Haha and yea I got a great deal. Got it on Craig's List for $1k.

I have two comercial freezers/refrigerators that I bought at an auction. I use the Love controler on mine because it's small and can be mounted in a way that looks like it's part of the freezer and it can power 2 things at once so it will control the freezer and a heating element. The cheap ones that are on ebay woyld probably work well also and they're cheaper.

It's not voltage, it's current - the draw of the chiller verses the rating for the relay in the controller.

At 13.2 amps that unit is closing in on the Ranco rating of 15A for the normally open relay points, but there's still almost 2 amps of headroom, so it will likely work just fine.

fwiw, I use two of the same controllers and they work very well...

Cheers!

Thanks for all the help guys. I just bought the 15 amp Ranco. Hopefully it works out for me.
