So...I, out of habit set my fermwrap temp control to 72 degrees yesterday after I pitched WLP029. This was my first time pitching it and I obviously didn't think about it and just plugged in 72f which I often do for the first 24-48 hours.

It's been fermenting(aggressively I might add) for approximately 20 or so hours. I've now unplugged the fermwrap and expect the temp to settle around 66 +/-1f... This was a rauchbier based batch...

Should I botch the whole batch or what? What are the negative effects of brewing said yeast at a higher temp if any?

Take care!
