So I am new to brewing and started my first brew last week. It has been 5 days since I added the yeast to let it ferment. I am using a bucket and my airlock has not had any action. I pressed down lightly on the lid and it bubbled then. I also couldn't take it and opened it up and looked inside. It is foaming up and looks great and smells wonderful. But it worried me a little that the only time it has bubbled is when I seemed to have forced it. The temp has stayed pretty constant. I was wondering if everything seems to be fine and it might be just a small air leak and I could leave it alone to Finish fermenting or if it could be something worse?

First time brewers always worry too much. Let it do it's thing. What temp and what yeast?

05 is usually more active but just let it go...you might have missed the main show as I have found 05 to work fast.
