Brewing aTwo Hearted clone. Came up with a SG of 1.08. Pitched in the Wyeast 1056 that the recipe suggested. 24 hours later it appears that the yeast had put a head on which has since fallen. Do I need to repitch? Is the SG too high for the yeast I used?

Thanks for any help of advice you can give. I hate the idea of risking the batch going bad.

24 hrs. too soon to tell, what's your temp, how well oxygenated was the wort? Give it at least a few days, then if no obvious activity, take a reading. Ferms can be super fast, especially at higher temps.
