My BeerSmith Brewsheet schedule is calling for a primary/sec fermentation schedule. I did not see an option in the "My Equip" (beersmith) list for fermenation vessel. I am using a 15 gal conical.

Anyone know if Beersmith has an option for this, or how I would convert the schedule to conical use? Perhaps, dump the trub on the day the recipe indicates to rack to secondary???

The Search engine here has a ton of conical info, but the majority on SS vs. Plastic, where to buy, how to make DIY, etc... Can't find much on "How to Use" Any advise on where to look for that info? forums, books etc?

I would imagine dropping out the yeast would be equivalent (if not close) to keeping it in a secondary. The only time I use a secondary is when the beer needs to be aged or when adding something (hops/fruit/etc) and just need the beer to be removed from the majority of the yeast. Essentially, dumping the yeast would do the same thing.
