I added tea bag hops to it with boiling water. what reading is this confused. Is the lager ok and can I bottle now as a my other homebrew's have been ok yellow bottle. Any advice much appreciated.

It looks like about 1.011 to me. There is nothing unnormal with a gravity like that on a finished beer. If it has not moved, go ahead and bottle it. It is done fermenting no matter if the hydrometer says it should be at or below 1.010.

Also, you shouldn't open your fermenter and take a reading like that. Everytime you open the lid, the headspace fills with air (including oxygen) and oxygen is very detrimental to beer. You also indruduce other bacteria and microorganisms to the beer that might ruin it.

Thanks for the reply appreciate it going to keg now as we speak. Kust not seen before and hydrometer find it hard to read thaks again.
