I searched around a bit and couldn't find a clear answer on this. Does anyone know the fermentability of Muntons plain light DME? I was going to use this calculator for carbing my beer:
http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipator/carbonation.html?15297914#tag

and it lists DME as 55% fermentable, but on here I've read it is 70%-72%-75% I tried muntons website and couldn't find it there either.

Hmmm not sure if this is a right anwser but I just used 6# of mutons light DME for a IPA and mu OG was 1.059 if I remeber right.

Edit: looked at my notes 60 dagrees hydro reading my og was 1.059

I typically get 75- 85% attenuation from Muntons DME, depending on the yeast. I believe that calculator is way off the mark or you may be misinterpreting.

Yeah, i just changed it to 75% there was definitely something off with that calc. I used 200g to get 2.6 volumes. Thanks for the help guys.
