Favorite Beer Stein

I'm lookin for some good beer containers. Post pictures of your favorite beer stein. I need idears for my leaderhozen (i know i butchered the spelling) halloween costume Here's one I'm considering...

I've been dying to get a beer stein, but they're so expensive. My wife is obsessed with lancaster PA, so we go there every couple months. there's a place there that has a sign out front that says "Beer signs and beer steins". One of these days i'm gonna check it out.

Frosty mugs remind me of TGIF's or Applebees in the ninety's. I don't mind them if I get beer served in one, i just don't have enough room in my freezer for them. I have about 2.5 pounds of hops in my freezer, and my wife complains every time she opens it up and sees the bag. I wonder how she's gonna feel when I start freezing 2 liter bottles for my fermentation chamber.

Warmer beer tastes much better than ice cold beer. I hate cold beer and converted several ice cold BMC drinkers to warm(er) beer (nonBMC) drinkers. Their comments "man, you can really taste the beer when it's not ice cold".

I enjoy my beer cold. I've had it room temp and although I don't hate it, I do like it better when it's cold. Just my preference.

Ditto the colder the better. I am that way about all drinks the only thing I don't drink ice cold is pretty much coffee.

Well I wouldn't say like actual warm beer but depending on style anywhere from 40-60F. I've never thought that that this beer would be better if only the glass was frosty and chilled.

Anyway, OP was looking for steins. I have a couple so I'll try to post one when I get home to bring it back on topic.

Putting this thread right back on track.

My go to is pretty standard, but I love the feel, its' nice and thick and hearty:

I use that one when I'm going to put back a bunch of crappy domestic lager. Great mug!

This one is my go to for bombers, because I hate having to pour them then lug the bottle around waiting to pour the rest:

I also have a couple of tulips I use for fancy beer. And a variety of tasters for sharing.

Look, I like glassware, ok?


Edit: None of these is a stein, but you used the word containers too! DON'T JUDGE ME!

I wish I had bought this while I was in Germany. I could have paid only $80 for the stein. I have a different one though. I would like to eventually get this big ass stein and possibly even use it. I do occasionally use the one I have now but it's a 1L stein I think.
