What temperature range do you hope to achieve with that?
Cider makers typically struggle to maintain temps below ambient, not above.

My back porch stays between 35 and 55 for about 5 months out of the year. this is just for the winter. I will be building a fridge in a few months for a permanent set up. This is just so that I can make cider for the next 4 months without getting in trouble with my wife.

It worked great
It is,a thermostat with a 12" probe. Not usng with the warm weather and need to build a freezer set up

What were you using to heat it with?

I am using a fish tank heater. You can pick them up on ebay for less than $10

I am about 4-6 weeks out before the weather will turn cool enough for me to fire production back up.
