I love Aussie humor and watch a good bit of Aussie TV. After watching all 11 seasons of MasterChef Australia I can even tell what part of the country some people are from. Or if they're from Taz or NZ.

Anyways, good video :)

We don't really have regional accents, we have urban v rural accents (with some overlap in outer suburbs), and then other accents from various ethnic backgrounds. Reason being is that unlike in the US, we didn't really have mass immigration from any single European country all go and live in one part of the country, they mingled with all nationalities in a very few urban centres, albeit within enclaves within each city.

I never begrudge anyone for finding an audience. If you find a way to express yourself and someone finds value in that then it is successful...but this type of video is not my cup of tea.

I'm not a fan of voice-over videos and not too fond of using the 1x or 2x speed method to shorten a sequence. And while there is something to be said for leaving out some things but I would at least like to know some basics about the recipe in case I would like to replicate it. Information that fell lacking in this video. (FWIW It happens in some of the brew day videos as well)

That being said however, I went to his channel and browsed a few other videos and he uses some very clever editing techniques and there is loads of fun and humor in them. It's just the disembodied, first-person-shooter type camera work and voice-of-God booming narration that sink it for me.

Did you not see the recipes written below each video?

Speed-wise, for me that's one of the main benefits of this, I hate the brew videos that go for 10+ minutes!! But as with beer, each to their own... ;)

"didnt have that high of hopes because of the chinook?!?" how dare he. Haha.

Not much for tasting videos because everyone has such differences in pallets but this one was sort of funny. At least it was quick! Thanks for sharing.

And yea, total Aussie there, mate! My work has an office in Melbourne, and I'm American, so not all of us are bad with accents ;)

I know, like all generalisations, a hint of truth and a lot of differences across individuals ;)

And his brew recipes I like more, the tasting ones more for a laugh. :ban:

I actually enjoyed the amusing videos, but eventually got annoyed by that British accent! No wonder those guys got ejected into a tropical climate with beautiful women with big ****s! Served them right! That will show them to pay their debts when they come due!
