I have been reading some old German books & came across the word "Farbmalz"
One translation was 'color malt'... ok but
Exactly which (eg. Weyermann) Malts would be called "FarbMalz" ?
Carafa? yes?
Since books are old, does someone know which malts now available,
have only been around for a few years?
What are the old, traditional malts (in Germany) and which are only modern refinements/inventions?
Would a "Helles Malz" be a special malt, or a generic term for pilsener malt?
