Fantome Friday!

Blanche was last released in '15
There was a '14 release, prior to that 2011 I thinkAnd there was like a 5-6 year hiatus prior to that release. No?
I would absolutely love it if he made Blanche more frequently. Id also love it if he dialed back the abv for more of his beers.
Do you still not own a legit Tome glass?
This is better than a legit glass. It's my favorite.Do you still not own a legit Tome glass?
Vert and Saison have been on tap at some places, so could be kegs. 3 kegs would require some crazy pull with Shelton though, there aren't that many to go around.![]()
The list for a local restaurants wild beer fest was just announced and I'm now deeply compelled to attend. Also, these have to be bottle pours, right?
Fantome Friday!

So it’s been a month later and nobody has come up with an explanation, soooo… shall we declare June 18 Fantôme Day?Can someone explain why this is in my calendar (June 18)? I’m really hoping I created a new holiday while drunk one time, but I’m not a particularly clever person.

Ive never been the biggest fan of Dalmatienne blonde but I wont refuse a chance to try different batches.
beeraroundtown slung this one my way and damn am I thankful he did. Easily the best bottle ive ever had. Its a slow creeper of character...starts off quite mild like a grisette and then turns grassy, fruity with warming alcohol, a touch of dry brett and a lingering brightness of lime zest.
This beer is saison perfection. Not overly bitter like some batches have been and doent have a strong weed aspect either.
Label claims it to be Best by 2018 lot b34 d014 - if anyone sees these hanging around pick them up. Seriously ISO a couple more.

As if yours will taste anything like stakem's
Great to hear they're doing well. I've always liked that batch and for what it's worth, according to my notes I have a couple of bottles with the same label details that I purchased in December 2014.
Checks cellar...

Opened this Tonton Robert, after it spent a few days in the fridge. Small bit of pellicle in the bottle. Started to gush slowly. Poured it in my Intihar glass, and it has been foaming over the sides for the last 15 minutes.
This is, what, 6 months old? If you guys open these in the future, be careful!
I would report in how the taste is developing, but haven't gotten through the foam yet.
Edit: Funk and mild tartness starting to creep in, balancing out the dry, peppery spice that it had when it was young. Really coming around. Will be great in another 4-6 months, if it doesn't take your eye out.
17 of them still up on etreGave my last few away as extras in trades. Regret is circling in now.
I just filled a box a few days ago. Hopefully there will be some to add to the next one I do. I always want to add other stuff but that means less tomes I'd be getting which is unacceptable.17 of them still up on etre
With all the talk in the lambic thread about the new fruited de cam lambics and people rushing to buy them, I looked but couldnt pull the trigger. 1 bottle of de cam fruit acid or 3 bottles of Fantome for the same price? bahahahha tomes all day e'ry day

That can't be the same beer, if so I'm impressed. Mine were brilliant green from the first drop. Printemps? This is weird ****. I can't wait until the second pour from the bottle where, based on the other photos I have seen, this will likely turn bright green.

Man, I love Fantome.

I've definitely seen some different looking pours of Vert, but generally more brownish. Curious how the second pour of yours turns out.Doesn't taste like Printemps. I definitely taste something that at one point in its life was vaguely a witbier. I've never had Blanche, though.

Now that's some of the secrets Dany's been taking about!![]()
Admittedly, this is at least SLIGHTLY due to lighting of photos, but I swear, the dregs are neon green.
