I picked up a first gen sabco brew magic. The guy I picked it up from was using stainless steel screen as a false bottom. The kegs are weird, they have these metal studs all the way around at about, I guess for the false bottom to rest on.

Here's a picture.

My question is, would a 15 inch false bottom fit on top of the studs nice and snug and keep milled grain from passing through to my RIMS tube? I guess, alternatively, I could use the 15 inch false and some sort of SS braid off the dip tube....

Time to break out your tape measure! Measure the diameter on top of the studs and you've got your answer. I'm sure Jaybird could make you up whatever size you needed.
