Hop spiders make life and brewing so much easier. What was your Ibu with this, 2oz is a heck of a bittering charge. keep us posted as to how it turns out.
Yeah I know but I want to try putting another beer on top of this yeast cake. Just to see how it works. No need to transfer to secondary for the dry hop, FWIW.
Just wanting to see what this does for right now. After I taste this batch I may bump it up a bit.surprised so many hops up front and none at the tail? I'd almost double that dry hop addition as well.

You are correct. But I'm just playing around can always make another batch to improve and adjust the hop bomb.I'm betting his hop schedule as listed has a typo and
.5oz FF 45min
was actually
.5oz FF 15min.
Still, lots of room for late additions there.
Indeed.

I don't know yet, but it will be ready to keg on Thursday. It smells awesomeHow does the FF taste? Gonna use this hop here in an upcoming beer and am pretty stoked to use it.
Weird hop schedule for an IPA. Just use Magnum or Warrior if you want a bitter hop bomb. Save that FF for 15 min and less, up that dry hop!

Yeah, I agree with the citrus peel flavor. Going to put it into the keg probably tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure the aroma will be amplified once it is carbonated. This is what I did with one I just bottled. Magnum to bitter and FF as late additions and dry hop.
To me, it gives a citrus peel flavor.
