So I ended up with Mold, Never Got SCOBY I got SCOMY... Too Warm?

Mold is happy to grow anywhere there's moisture and oxygen. It's always a risk with kombucha. Spores are everywhere.
Temperature isn't really a factor.

It helps to keep it covered with something like foil, that will allow oxygen in but keep out mold spores.

Dump that batch.
