6lbs of extract = 10 lbs grain, so 3lbs DME = 5 lbs two-row.

It really depends. That is the ballpark for conversion, but in AG, the efficiency of your particular system determines the actual OG you get. eg for the same recipe for an intended 1.050 beer @ 80% efficiency would only give you a 1.038 beer @ 60% efficiency.
