I ordered the AHS Chocolate Raspberry Stout kit around the end of march. I got this as an extract kit before I made the AG switch. Think my Liquid extract is still good, or should I just pitch it and pickup some dry extract?

Extract usually keeps for a year or two, but you'll want to have some DME on hand just in case. If it looks and tastes ok when you open it, you're good to go - if there's mold, then use the DME.

My father in law gave me two cans of extract that expired in 2005. I did up a simple brew with the stuff and it came out allright, but not great. But i end up with 2 cases of beer for less than $10.

However there is a slight metallic twang.

My stepdad made a porter with some LME that was NINE years old. He got it from a friend that had switched to AG and forgot about a malt bucket in his garage. It was quite tasty.
