There was this one time where I said Sather was a good GM. GoofyNewfie called me crazy. Yet here we are.

Gotta get the Center Ice package, but have to wait until I switch tv providers. With luck I wont miss any games

Interesting changes in the Wings roster to start the season. Lots of younger guys, and a few guys who are starting out with injuries.

Boston is going to be a great season starter. Lots of good action expected. Time to start planning the snack menu!

I am looking forward to having some younger people out there. Watched a bunch of them with the Griffins last season. Unfortunately I am out in St. Louis now so the Blues are here :(

I'll definitely tune in tonight to watch the kings/sharks game. I'll be at work or driving home for the rest. I'm just glad the season is finally here

What?? Oh man, we will miss you!

Yeah, I liked what I saw of the younger players last year. I expect them to be even better this season with the experience they got. Detroit definitely has to prove themselves these days. I think they defense is looking decent so as long as they stay healthy I think they can do well.

I hear Tootoo got picked up by the Devils. No word on Bertuzzi. Maybe he is just going to retire?

yeah, im pretty excited to see what they do this year. ive only caught a couple preseaon games but liked what i saw for sure. just crossing my fingers that we can stay sorta healthy this year. :beard:

Not too excited about the new season at this point. The lingering disappointment of the Blues' regular season success followed by early playoff exits has left me a bit jaded. Wake me up in February...

Kings took a dump tonight. Sharks had their game together and looked sharp! Kings couldn't get anything going even on the 3-5, and had a power play with zero shots on goal... Best line was the 70s line... After a great preseason, I totally expected more...

Excited to see the Wild play the Av's tonight. Man oh man do we have to be careful with MacKinnon. Jam him at the line or he will do some damage.

Upset that the Wild did nothing to address their goalie situation over the off season. We still have 2 very average goalies that are very prone to injury, and one good goalie that has extensive health issues (on top of it all decided to kick a wall during an altercation). Sigh.

New job down in STL. I have Gamecenter though so I can still watch the Wings

Wings looked pretty good last night. The young guys seemed to play together well. Rask was challenging, but we took advantage of a steal and happened to have guys positioned to take advantage.

I'm not sure about that new guy, Nestrasil. I mean, his name sounds like some kind of skin cream you'd get a prescription for. "Ask your doctor about NESTRASIL!"

The Devils lead the league in goals scored. Ryder leads the league in points, Fried Cammalleri leads the leagues in goals. Cammy is on pace for 164 goals this season. 82-0 here we come!!!!!

The Devils are tied for leading the league in goals scored. Ryder doesn't leads the league in points, Fried Cammalleri doesn't lead the leagues in goals. Cammy is on pace for 164 goals this season. 82-0 here we come!!!!!
fixed that for you
:rockin:

Highly unlikely your going 82-0 giving up 4 goals a game

Blah. Bad no-call on the hook to Kronwall to set up the GWG with 20 seconds left.

Oh well, you get some, you give some. That shouldn't have resulted in a goal anyway.

No hockey until Wednesday now.

Wild up 2-0 on Avs for now. Will be different later in the season I bet as the Avs looked a little slow to start the season. No hockey for Wild until Friday, WTF? Talk about a momentum killer with 6 days off.

Hurricanes dropped both games against the Islanders. Hope this means the Islanders are better this season not that the Canes are worse. Playing Buffalo tomorrow will hopefully give them their first win

WTF Minnesota?! Take one from San Jose's book??!?!?!?

Worst collapse I've seen from the Wild. Maybe they had a kegger after the 2nd period, I remember Suter calmly watching the last 2 goals go right on in.

Its one I hope they can both remember AND forget. Doesn't get easier going to Boston tonight.

Detroit Hockey back on tonight. Seems like ages since a game was on.

Ok, I just checked and it turns out they were on not that long ago, I just blocked that game from my memory.
